We are a community of like-minded paralegals committed to advancing our careers while making a meaningful impact through service. Founded in August 1984, the Ventura County Paralegal Association (VCPA) brings professionals together to share knowledge, build connections, and support one another’s growth. Through education, collaboration, and outreach, we promote excellence in the profession and expand access to justice in our community.
Our missionOur mission is to promote the professional advancement of paralegals in Ventura County by fostering excellence through continuing education, ethical leadership, and public service. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and responsibility within the legal community. We support career development through mentorship, networking, and collaboration, while also working to enhance access to justice through civic engagement, community outreach, and pro bono initiatives.
